Curious?

Then here's the complete information and details

We offer financial support to two students per calendar year for a maximum of twelve semesters. Scholarship holders are selected by an internal selection committee.

In the first six semesters, the scholarship holder receives a study grant in the form of a non-interest-bearing loan of € 400.00 per month for the purpose of securing maintenance. The loan is granted for a maximum of six semesters.

If the scholarship holder is accepted into the funding programme during their undergraduate studies, the study grant is reduced by the number of semesters already completed.

After passing the Physikum or entering the main clinical centre (usually from the seventh semester), the scholarship holder receives a study grant in the form of a scholarship of € 500.00 per month, but for a maximum of six semesters. If the degree programme is terminated early, the scholarship payment also ends.

The total amount of the study grant awarded during the degree programme therefore amounts to a maximum of € 32,400.00. The planned loan portion of this is € 14,400.00.

The scholarship comprises an amount of € 18,000.00, which does not have to be repaid upon fulfilment of the contract.

  • After completing your studies, you will be contractually bound to the Arberlandkliniken for at least three years (full-time assistant doctor in TV-Ärzte/VKA EG I Level 1).
  • During the working phase, you repay the advance payment in monthly instalments of € 400 each.
  • Any uncertainties, such as dropping out or interrupting studies, are regulated within the framework of a scholarship agreement.
  • If you drop out during the first semester, there is no repayment obligation.
  • If you do not commence your service with us after completing your studies, you will have to repay the full amount of the funding granted (repayment in monthly instalments is possible).
  • If you leave the clinics before the end of the three-year contract period, a partial repayment will be due depending on the duration of the contract.

At the Arberland Clinics, we also offer the "Arberland Clinical Student without NC & Waiting Period" funding programme and the midwifery degree course.

In addition, the Free State of Bavaria grants scholarships for medical students in accordance with the guidelines for the promotion of a scholarship programme to improve medical care in rural areas. Further information on scholarship opportunities can be found here: www.aerzteportal.bayern.de

Our aim is to retain the scholarship holders at the Arberland Clinics at an early stage. We support this, for example, through the annual "Clinic Student Day" or by sharing information via the company's employee app. In addition to the opportunity to get to know each other and exchange ideas with the future employer, the "Clinic Student Day" also includes informative presentations by our doctors.

In addition, each scholarship holder is assigned a medical contact person for questions relating to their medical studies for the entire duration of their studies.

It is also possible to join in a higher semester.
