Our strategy

As a senior doctor, you will have the opportunity to work in an inspiring environment. Our clinics in Zwiesel and Viechtach are strategically located on the outskirts of the district of Regen and we are proud to cover a wide range of medical care as a primary and standard care provider. We are a municipal company of the district of Regen and a transparent, trusting co-operation with the district management is essential for a stable hospital company.

The hospital structure reform is currently raising many questions with regard to the security of care in Germany. Although some questions remain unanswered, it is essential to prepare for the requirements of the hospital reform at an early stage and take the appropriate steps. The Arberlandkliniken are pursuing the goal of ensuring needs-based care and optimising the use of the necessary resources.

In doing so, we rely on strong cooperation between hospitals, but also other players such as doctors in private practice or nursing homes. The regional circumstances and requirements play a decisive role here.

MVZ Arberland and Arberland clinics

This is not the only reason why the district of Regen and the Arberlandkliniken have been investing in the continuous expansion of the Arberland Medical Care Centre for over ten years.

The MVZ Arberland optimally complements our inpatient care and offers our senior physicians a seamless transitional solution between outpatient and inpatient care. Because that is at the centre of our efforts: an interdisciplinary approach to meet the needs of our patients.

Doctors appreciate the opportunity to quickly consult with colleagues during treatment. Employment in an MVZ makes it easier for young doctors to enter outpatient care because the entrepreneurial risk associated with setting up a practice is eliminated. In an MVZ, a doctor can enter into a permanent employment relationship with regular working hours. Another advantage is the possibility of setting up flexible working time models. Employed doctors can also work part-time, which is particularly interesting if they have family commitments.
