Assistant doctor/specialist (m/f/d) in further training for the field of geriatrics

What we wish for:

• You are a doctor (m/f/d) in further training as an internist or specialist (m/f/d) in internal medicine to obtain the additional qualification in geriatrics
• Strong social skills and empathy towards patients and sociability
• You have good German language skills and a German licence to practise medicine or professional licence according to § 10 BÄO

Your tasks:

•  Inpatient medical care for elderly multimorbid patients (admission examinations, ward rounds, team meetings, writing medical reports)
• Close cooperation with the members of the geriatric team (nursing, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, psychologists, speech therapists, social services, etc.)

This is what we offer you:

• Full authorisation for further training as a specialist (m/f/d) in internal medicine
• Authorisation for further training in geriatrics is granted by the head of the geriatrics section (12 months) and a cooperating rehabilitation facility.
  Covered (6 months)
• We support you in obtaining a specialist qualification and additional training in geriatrics
• After successful completion, you will work as a senior physician at the Arberlandklinik Zwiesel, building up the acute geriatrics department together with the cooperating specialist departments
• You will also receive the greatest possible support from the clinic administration and have the opportunity to develop personally and professionally
