Medical assistant (m/f/d)

What you bring with you

  • Qualifying secondary school leaving certificate or comparable, completed school education

Or

  • in the case of a recognised educational qualification obtained abroad, proof of good German language skills (B2 language level according to the European Framework of Reference)

Your tasks

Support: You are the first face the patient sees in the practice. You greet patients, record data and explain procedures.

Organisation: You coordinate the work processes surrounding operations or invasive therapeutic procedures.

Preparation and follow-up: You check the treatment rooms, prepare the necessary instruments and check the hygiene regulations.

Organisation & administrationThis area of responsibility is very varied and depends on the location. You will be responsible for making appointments, writing doctors' letters or organising the billing of various services.

AssistanceIn addition to caring for patients, you will also assist the doctor during treatments. You will hand out instruments, take blood samples, change dressings and explain prescribed measures to the patient.

Procedure & time of the training

  • Start of training: 01 September
  • Duration of training: 3 years
  • Theoretical training: at the Mathias-von-Flurl-Schule, Staatliche Berufsschule II Straubing-Bogen
  • Practical training: in various areas at our Arberland clinics (e.g. endoscopy, ECG, X-ray, ...) or via the MVZ Arberland

Working hours, holidays & remuneration

  • Weekly working time: 38.5 hours
  • Annual leave: 30 days
  • Remuneration: in accordance with the collective agreement for trainees in the public sector (TVAöD) with all benefits, i.e. gross: 1st year of training: € 1293.26, 2nd year of training: € 1343.20, 3rd year of training: € 1389.02
