Medical Technologist for Radiology (m/f/d)

What you bring with you

  • Intermediate educational qualification or Comparable, completed school education or Secondary school leaving certificate in combination with successfully completed vocational training of at least 2 years
  • health suitability
  • Good knowledge of scientific subjects, technical understanding and manual dexterity
  • Proof of good German language skills with a recognised educational qualification obtained abroad (B2 language level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages)

Your tasks

Preparation & realisation of examinations: You will take care of CT and MRI examinations and patients and prepare X-ray images.

Assistance: You will assist with fluoroscopic examinations of the digestive tract, cardiac catheterisation, endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography and digital subtraction angiography for peripheral vessels.

Maintenance & care of devicesYou will learn how to ensure that all devices function properly and are maintained.

Imaging: You will learn a lot about the anatomy of the human body and how to interpret images.

Procedure & time of the training

  • Start of training: 01 September
  • Duration of training: 3 years
  • Theoretical training: at the Eckert schools in Regenstauf
  • Practical training: mainly with us at the Arberlandkliniken, sections also in other affiliated clinics

Working hours, holidays & remuneration

  • Weekly working time: 38.5 hours
  • Annual leave: 30 days
  • Remuneration: in accordance with the collective agreement for trainees in the public sector (TVAöD) with all benefits, i.e. gross: 1st year of training: €1290.24, 2nd year of training: €1350.30, 3rd year of training: €1447.03
