What you bring with you
- Secondary school leaving certificate or an equivalent school-leaving qualification
- Proof of good German language skills with a recognised educational qualification obtained abroad (B2 language level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages)

Your tasks
Support with care: You will assist our patients with their day-to-day care and support nursing staff in providing personalised care – from basic care and helping with mobility to assisting with eating and getting dressed.
Carrying out nursing and medical tasks: You will carry out nursing duties independently and, under supervision, perform tasks such as taking vital signs (e.g. blood pressure and pulse) and administering medication as prescribed by a doctor.
Observation and documentation: You will learn to monitor our patients’ health closely, recognise any changes and document your observations in a professional manner.
Safety and hygiene in day-to-day care: Together with your team, you’ll help ensure that day-to-day care is carried out safely and you’ll learn how to reliably implement key hygiene and safety standards.
Procedure & time of the training
- Start of training: 01 September
- Duration of training: 18 months
- Theoretical training: Caritas Vocational Training Centre for Social Care Professions, Zwiesel
- Practical training: at our Arberlandkliniken and with our partner organisations
Working hours, holiday entitlement & pay
- Weekly working time: 38.5 hours
- Annual leave: 31 days (from 1 January 2027)
- Training allowance under the collective agreement for trainees in the public sector (TVAöD)
