Nursing specialist (m/f/d)

What you bring with you

  • Intermediate school leaving certificate or secondary school leaving certificate with at least one year of completed vocational training in nursing care or a comparable vocational qualification
  • health suitability
  • Proof of good German language skills with a recognised educational qualification obtained abroad (B2 language level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages)
  • Enjoy working with people

Your tasks

Promoting the independence of our patients: You support people of different age groups with basic needs such as food intake, personal hygiene or mobility

Diagnostics and therapy: You provide important, interdisciplinary collaboration in medical diagnostics and therapy by administering medication, changing dressings or monitoring and interpreting important vital signs

Communication: You will learn how to communicate professionally both internally and externally. Counselling and informing our patients is our top priority. You will learn to keep a clear head even in difficult situations and to respond sensitively to patients.

Documentation: Constant written planning and recording of the care process is one of your most important tasks.

Working in an interdisciplinary team: You will work in a team of doctors and therapists, among others. Cooperation is crucial for the best possible care of patients and it is precisely this cooperation that we emphasise at the Arberlandkliniken.

Procedure & time of the training

  • Start of training: 01 September
  • Duration of training: Usually 3 years
  • Theoretical training: either at the vocational training centre for social professions of the Mädchenwerk Zwiesel e.V., at the vocational school for nursing and geriatric care assistance in Bad Kötzting or at the Bavarian Forest Nursing Academy in Grafenau
  • Practical training: mainly in the Arberland clinics. You will complete subsections, such as in psychiatry or paediatrics, in nearby affiliated clinics. You will also expand your knowledge in inpatient geriatric care facilities in the surrounding area.

Working hours, holidays & remuneration

  • Weekly working time: 38.5 hours
  • Annual leave: 30 days
  • Remuneration: according to the collective agreement for trainees in the public sector (TVAöD) with all benefits, i.e. gross: 1st year of training: € 1415.69, 2nd year of training: € 1477.07, 3rd year of training: € 1578.38
