Care is our daily business - and yet care is so much more for us.
Our focus is not just on the most unusual operations or the latest equipment, but on people. And by that we mean the patients, but above all our teams. Because we are not lone fighters, we are team players. We stick together - especially when the going gets tough. And we achieve things together that seem impossible. With each other. For each other.
Curious?
Then let's talk about the facts first:
The Arberlandkliniken offer various medical services, which are carried out using state-of-the-art technology and qualified specialist staff. Our services include both diagnostic and therapeutic programmes that support and promote the healing process of our patients.
Laboratory
Diagnostic tests are carried out on patient samples in the Arberland Clinics laboratory in order to recognise illnesses and enable the correct treatment. Blood and urine samples as well as other body fluids are analysed. This enables precise results to be obtained and well-founded decisions to be made about therapies and medical measures.
X-ray
X-rays are used to visualise internal body structures. They help to detect injuries and diseases so that doctors can specifically diagnose and treat bone fractures, tumours or infections.
Speech and language therapy
In speech therapy, we treat speech, language, voice and swallowing disorders. Our speech therapists work with patients with speech problems following strokes or other neurological disorders. The focus is on restoring communication skills and improving quality of life through targeted exercises and individualised therapy approaches.
Occupational therapy
Occupational therapy helps patients to regain their everyday abilities after an illness, injury or operation. Targeted exercises and therapies are used to strengthen physical, mental and emotional health and thus promote patients' independence. Occupational therapists work individually with patients to help them master everyday tasks such as getting dressed, eating or working.
Physiotherapy
Physiotherapy is an important part of rehabilitation following surgery, injury or illness. In our department, we offer individualised therapy plans that combine targeted exercises, manual techniques and modern equipment to relieve pain, restore mobility and promote the prevention of further injury. This personalised treatment helps patients to improve their physical functioning and enable a quick return to everyday life.
Encoding
The coding team ensures that medical services and diagnoses are coded correctly and in full. With their specialist knowledge, they help to ensure transparent documentation and the correct billing of treatment cases.
Typing service
The Medical Writing Service drafts and edits medical documents such as doctors’ letters, diagnostic reports and other documents. By ensuring documentation is carried out meticulously and on time, the team supports the doctors and helps ensure that day-to-day clinic operations run smoothly.
Salary & holiday
In the Medical and Technical Services department, we offer remuneration in accordance with the TVöD/VKA, including all the social benefits customary in the public sector (including supplementary pension provision), as well as allowances for shift work and on-call duties.
