What you bring with you

  • Secondary school leaving certificate
  • Proof of good German language skills with a recognised educational qualification obtained abroad (B2 language level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages)

Your tasks

Food preparation: You will ensure a varied food supply for our patients and staff by preparing dishes, learning tasty recipes and what food law entails.

Planning & documentation: You will learn how to create menus, help with purchasing goods and take care of documentation and compliance with hygiene regulations.

Control: You will check the storage and cold storage rooms on a daily basis and ensure that food is handled conscientiously. You will learn what is important when receiving and checking goods.

Procedure & time of the training

  • Start of training: 01 September
  • Duration of training: 3 years
  • Theoretical training: at the Viechtach Hotel Vocational School
  • Practical training: with us at the Arberlandkliniken via Arberlandkliniken Service GmbH

Working hours, holidays & remuneration

  • Weekly working time: 38.5 hours
  • Annual leave: 30 days
  • Remuneration: €1,160 (1st year); €1,260 (2nd year); €1,360 (3rd year)
